Will Colin Powell be a Secret Wild Card Entry for '08?

After over a week ago, Powell laid some campaign money on McCain (which I thot was very odd, because McCain is in dire straights of loserville). Then yesterday, Rove makes his exit of the wht house. Then I wondered..... what if there is a Repuking Oct surprise heading our way? One different from a Neocon planned terror attack on the US. One that completely 'WOWS' the '08 election campaign with a sleeping beauty! Maybe Colin Powell??!!

If Colin Powell tossed his hat in the ring, smiled and waved at America, the man would get millions of votes without question. I mean mega millions! What if Rove became his secret 'behind the scenes' campaign brain? We know how Rove is a slime-ball weasel that does anything and everything to win. His '06 disappointment has left me to wonder if he now is wanting to pull off the near impossible defeat of the 'fix' Hillary Clinton? Rove wants his biggest 'fist pump' victory to retire by.

Think about that. Powell.... backed by Rove's election brain. That would put a serious hurt on the Democratic party if Powell entered the race. Plus, we already know what Rove does to his opponents. He smears and destroys them with mostly lies.

Powell..... damn near an automatic win for the Repukes, IMHO.

Powell is McCain in blackface--a once respected public figure who squandered his reputation for independence by becoming a Bush toady. He would have to run as a Republican as it is nearly unthinkable that the Democrats would ever nominate him for anything besides a defendant's seat at a war-crimes trial at the Hague. And Republicans don't like black people, even if they are one of them (say, of an Alan Keyes stripe), which Powell most definitely isn't--too liberal, too secular, too intelligent.

As for Rove, i suspect the big rat jumped Junior's sinking ship of state one or two steps ahead of multiple indictments (we'll know for sure if and when he starts 'lawyering up'). Even if he did get involved in running another campaign, one must remember that Mister Karl is a salesman who knows how to sell only one thing (racism, greed, xenophobia, hate, resentment, fear) to one customer--the angry, white, born-again, middle-aged, lower-middle-class male that is the GOP's core base.

Given these realities, it would be closer to the truth to suggest that Powell might just be the ONLY candidate the GOP could nominate whom Clinton could beat; any of the white-bread ass-hat clowns left standing after the convention will be the next president if Dems are dim enough to nominate the triangulating shrew.

But see.... that's the beauty of the GOP's spin now. They have turned the Iraq troop surge into a 'good thing' by spinning the propaganda so much saying it is 'working'. The sheeple are buying into it per what is said on CNN. Regardless how wrong CNN is.... the words are put out there that it's 'working'.

Here's the deal with Powell. He's for taking it to the Iranians. Fixing the threat. His blunder about Iraq is now water under the bridge because there's been so many 'other' distractions about Iraq, who really remembers Powell's blunder now? Besides, the sheeple wants a hero so badly now, that no matter what any new warmonger presents, they'll simply buy into it. Also consider this piece of tid bit from another CNN poll. Close to 70% of the sheeple are behind military actions against Iran. Yes, can you believe that crap??!! As much as Iraq is costing us..... as much a clusterf**ck it has always been.... the majority of the sheeple still support military action against, Iran because the Bush Regime has pushed the 'terrorist fear factor' on us so much for so long, that it's now a more accepted illusion per most sheeple's thinking. Iran has become the majority's target. The Iran focus that erases all things 'wrong' with Iraq. The GOP spin factor.

Powell supports actions against Iran. Powell is probably regarded by many as 'THE' General to lead us into war(s) who'll win. That's what floats these sheeple's boat! A chest full of medals.

That is why I wonder if Powell will now consider this role. In 'HIS' mind, he might see himself as the saving president who wins the wars early on in this 21st century. Could that be Powell's legacy that changes his current status for being suckered by Bush and Cheney??

I used to respect the man to some degree, as I used to respect McCain. Both seemed willing to oppose their own party in the 1990's. Powell did it so often that, in fact, nobody even knew he was a Republican until 1996.

But he sold his soul to the PNAC Zionfascist demons from Hell, and that's unforgiveable, because he KNEW BETTER. Fuck Colin Powell. :fuckbush:
