Berg's got a good chance of winning.

For Greens who are targetting certain races, this is a good one. So is the California Senate race. Todd needs some publicity. Most dummies who vote party line don't know what Feinstein represents.

Berg should be the darling of PI! He's a real socialist (who's father was involved

in organizing the communist party). Although he's signed on as a Green for this election cycle he's more of a socialist than a Green. He's got great priorities and if PIers would just take a look at him I think they'd absolutely love him. I had the priviledge of hosting him for a couple of SF Bay events and I'm very impressed with his integrity and his approach to transforming our political system to being something that serves the people. Check him out http://www.bergforcongress.us

    no, he doesn't...

...and Berg knows it...heard him say it myself this past Sunday at a Berg fundraiser in Glassboro (NJ); the incumbent, Mike Castle (R), is the odd-on/prohibitive favorite, with over $1M. to blow on the election...Berg has about $10K. Also, the Delaware media is going out of its way to ignore Berg, and most organizations that sponsor debate/forums refuse to invite him...my guess is he'll be lucky to pull 4%. BTW: if any PI'ers know of anyone who could function as Berg's campaign manager, drop Berg a line...he desparately needs one (the last one had to quit several weeks early--to give birth).

    His son was Nick Berg

the one who was beheaded in Iraq?

    I didn't know that

  6. #6

He has spoken out very bravely against Bush and the war

He's a wonderful candidate. I hope he gets the seat.

  7. #7

    He has a conscience.

That's better than most current House members.

  8. #8

He's well known and every want out of Iraq.

I think he will surpise everyone.

i wanted to bump this back up...

...to illustrate the power of wishful thinking: Berg finished fourth in a four-way race, with barely 2% of the vote.
