Record Unemployment in Spain

Nearly one Spaniard in four is unemployed. Jobs are being lost faster and faster. At this rate, the country should have over 6 million unemployed by summer. At the end of the first quarter there were nearly 5.7 million unemployed in Spain, which corresponds to a 24.44% unemployment rate.
