Germany’s EU commissioner Günther Oettinger said Europe should send blue helmets (UN peacekeeping troops) to take control of Greek tax collection and liquidate state assets. This provoked headlines in the Greek press about the threat of a “Fourth Reich” in Europe, and comparing Germany’s financial policy to Hitler’s invasion of Greece during World War II.

It sounds like a libertarian wet dream but there it is. Of course it took the total domination of the UN by the capitalists powers to make it so.

Jesus! Poor ol' Günther is as tone-deaf to this kind of statement as Obama is about labor. For any German to advocate sending troops into another European country is just obscene. And to send them for the purpose of confiscating property? Unbelievable...

I am kinda hoping Germany or other european countries send some troops over here to collect taxes. They will come here alright but I dont know how they will get out of here.
Anyways, I have the feeling that EU has already quit on us PIIG Greeks, oink oink :)
